I met Kacee and Tyler (and Brently) earlier this year for their engagement session and it was probably one of my favorite sessions even now! I loved them immediately and looked forward to this day for months. This day was everything I knew it would be and more. Whispering Pines Farm, nestled into the foothills of John’s Mountain, made for the perfect backdrop to this rustic and romantic (just a little rainy) Fall wedding day.
Something that will stick with me about this day was something that the minister did. Something so simple. He asked both Kacee and Tyler, before the wedding day, what they loved most about the other and then he shared their heartfelt answers as their vows to each other and a reminder to always love those things. I think I can say with complete certainty, there was not a dry eye in the house (and if there was, it absolutely wasn’t me!) This couple filled their day with sentimental touches. I could feel the emotion that filled that space as Kacee’s two brothers stood in for their late father and accompanied her down the aisle, toward a smiling Tyler who held her hands through a sweet and deeply personal ceremony.
I always feel so honored and blessed to capture these amazing days for my couples but this one felt a little extra special. It was truly my pleasure to be involved in such a wonderful day! And let me just say, this group knows how to throw a party! Rain couldn’t stop these two or their loved ones from having the time of their lives!
