Saturday was one of those days that was good for my soul. Wedding days are hard work but I caught myself more than once just looking around and feeling amazed and thankful that I get to capture days like this. After taking several weeks completely off, and not shooting weddings since November, I was more than ready to get my 2021 season started. This day could not have beena better start to the year! Jordan and Whitt’s wedding day was classic elegance meets a little trendy boho twist. They were married in a small, intimate ceremony in front of their closest friends and family and then followed it up with a rocking party at The Depot on Bradley in Carrollton, GA.
The Train Depot made a gorgeous background for this perfect day. And I know I say this over and over, but I’m just so grateful for my amazing couples who trust me enough to jump in my messy car full of baby toys and other random junk and go on an adventure down the road for bride and groom portraits. Random warehouses, muddy grass, they never second guessed one request or idea that we had! I loved all of the special touches that Jordan and Whitt incorporated into their day. From the polaroid photo wall guest book to the charcuterie grazing spread for dinner, their name in Neon lights behind the head table and Jordan’s grandmother’s ring hanging from her bouquet. They thought of every little thing. And as must as I love a big, beautiful wedding party, I have to say, I did not hate the idea of having a day without attendants. It really put all of the focus right where it should be, on Jordan and Whitt and their perfect day!
So without hearing me go on and on about it anymore, just keep scrolling because this one deserves ALL the heart eyes you’ve got to give!! Congrats to the Shealys, yall are the best!
