Alyssa and Chase, you two are SO LOVED. The amount of love that I witnessed being poured into you on Saturday was amazing. Both individually and as a couple. It was all encompassing, heartfelt and coming from all directions. The entire day was a true testament to how special the two of you are to those that call you their people. That kind of love speaks volumes to who you are and makes for one heck of a celebration! From the ceremony site and bridge, built and set up specifically with them in mind by the venue, to Chase’s grandfather’s antique John Deere tractor in the background of the day, it was a day of special touches just for them!
Saturday was the definition of a perfect wedding day. It was a very rare cool day in May. Sunshine teased us most of the afternoon and then a sunset for the books showed up and showed out to end out the day. And I could not have asked for a sweeter, more relaxed couple to spend my day with. From the beginning, Chase and Alyssa have been so fun and have my job so easy. Their wedding day was certainly no different. They never batted an eye at any of my ideas, were willing to go along with it all and I think we got some amazing shots as a result.
Alyssa and Chase, I am so grateful to have played a part in this chapter of your story. It has truly been an honor to get to know you both and your sweet families! It never even felt like joining two families together this weekend because it was like you all had already done that long ago. Your story is one for the ages and I can’t wait to cheer you guys on and see what the future holds for you both!
