I first met Aimee and Tony just a few weeks ago, when I photographed their son Hunter’s wedding. A few days after the wedding, Aimee reach out telling me that her own anniversary was this month and she was really wanting a few photos to celebrate their Silver Anniversary. The stars aligned with our schedules and I was able to fit them in for a short and oh, so sweet little session last week at Berry College.
Today these two are celebrating 25 YEARS of marriage! That is no small feat. What is even sweeter is the way they still so intentionally love each other. I have not known them long but I imagine this relationship has only grow stronger over the years. As we walked around last Tuesday, we were talking about how long it had been since the two of them had been in front of the camera. 9 years, she said! And that was for a family session in this same location. She mentioned that as her boys got older, they were less and less fond of the idea of photos and so they became less and less of a priority. I am so happy that they decided to take some intentional time to document this special occasion for just the two of them.
Happy Anniversary Aimee and Tony! It was a joy to spend time with you guys and document this milestone for you. I’m sure you already know you are an inspiration to those that know you but you may not realize, you are so inspiring to others as well. This is truly what it’s all about! 🤍
