Elegant, Timeless and Inspired by Nature. These were Camryn’s words to describe her and Jackson’s wedding day. I couldn’t think of any better way to put this day into words. The simple, natural beauty of Kingston Downs made for the perfect backdrop for their sweet, romantic day. We started the day with a few sprinkles and gray skies that turned into a beautiful summer glow, just in time for sunset photos. The whole day was easy, laid back and so intentional, all in celebration of these two and their love story.

One of my favorite parts of the day was Camryn and Jackson’s First Look with each other. Camryn chose a secluded spot on the venue’s property so it could be just the two of them (and their trusted photographers of course 😁) I love when my couple’s take full advantage of their precious time together on their wedding day. You don’t realize how little time you get to yourselves and taking the time for a private first look is such a great way to steal a few extra kisses and ease some of those wedding day nerves.

But as sweet as the first look was, nothing could beat their intimate ceremony down on the riverbank. And just when it couldn’t get any more perfect, these two started out their handwritten vows to each other with almost the exact same opening line. Totally unplanned. It was pretty clear that what started as a blind date between a girl and the boy behind the Chick-Fil-A counter was meant to end up right here on this perfect summer day! There wasn’t a dry eye in the “house”.

On a day full of one special touch after another, the bride’s sweet college friend, Georgie, sang a classic for their First Dance as husband and wife. Then we followed up with sunset photos overlooking the best views Kingston Downs has to offer. The dance party was waiting on their return and didn’t stop until it was time to send the newlyweds on their way! I couldn’t think of a better day to close out my own summer wedding season and although I say it over and over. I get to work with the BEST couples. I am so honored to have gotten to get to know these two and capture their amazing day!
