Kristin + Jake | Married | Berry College Wedding

It doesn’t happen often but from time to time, I still end up meeting a couple for the very first time on their wedding day. It usually causes me a little bit of extra nerves because I don’t have that bond of familiarity built ahead of time. I can honestly say, I didn’t feel that for one moment about shooting Kristin and Jake’s big day! From the very first conversation I had with Kristin, there was never a moment that she felt like a stranger. And funny enough, I soon realized that despite the fact that I had never met either of them and they live states away, I was quite familiar with Jake’s family. Turns out, our grandfathers were long time best friends and parts of our families grew up with each other! It was just a “small world” kind of day!

Kristin was all smiles, laughs and excitement from the moment I arrived on Saturday! It was a stunning day in Rome and even had all of the hints of fall in Georgia. It was the perfect day for a wedding and it was the perfect day for these two. They were married at Frost Chapel, in the same place where Jake’s parents were married. They celebrated with close friends and family at Harvest Moon, where Jake took Kristin on one of her first visits to his hometown. It was a day full of meaning and represented Jake and Kristin so well. And I can’t forget the love these two share for all things The Office!

I am grateful to have spent the day with this awesome couple and their wonderful families!
