Alexis and Jack. The first time I met them, I knew I loved them. Why, you ask? Because they brought snacks to their engagement session, just in case anyone got hungry. Those are my kind of people. But really, I think it would be hard to spend time with either of them and not think fondly of them. Their day was just as wonderful. Sweet and easy, beautiful. Heartfelt and fun!
I’m sure you’ve heard the old saying about March… In like a lion, out like a lamb. I think Saturday gave us all of that in one day. When I heard Alexis’ vision of a spring, garden inspired wedding day, I was so excited by her plans. An afternoon ceremony on the back lawn of Oak Hill (I’m thinking Sweet Home Alabama here, IYKYK) and a dinner and night of dancing on site as well. But early March is unpredictable and not exactly spring in full swing. But Saturday was perfect! The drizzle and gloom parted by blue skies and sunshine, just in time for the gorgeous ceremony. A golden hour for the books! And an amazing team holding it all together in the in between!
March is off to a grand start, these next 3 weeks have a lot to live up to! Alexis and Jack, you guys are the best! 🤍
