Jessica and Jono’s day was an experience! Just like they wanted it. This was a day about bringing together loved ones from all over. Not just state lines, but oceans were crossed for this celebration! They really wanted to honor that effort and soak in the love from everyone there to celebrate them! Jessica envisioned hosting an elevated garden inspired party that her guests would truly enjoy and I think she accomplished just that! Their day was like a breath of fresh air. The season’s last farewell to the true bright, airy breeze of summer elegance!

Something I learned early on in the process of working with these two is that Jessica is going to have a vision. She’s going to make sure that vision comes to life and she’s going to have a blast doing it! Jessica and Jono made sure they kept the day true to themselves. So many personal, well thought out details. So many little touches to honor their love story. And so much consideration and gratitude for those that have brought them to this day. One of my favorite moments of the day was when, instead of the more traditional bouquet toss, Jessica dedicated her bouquet to her mom. Not only as a little break from “tradition” but because, as she said it so eloquently, no one in that room would appreciate it more. And no one in her life deserved the recognition more than her mom. Cue the tears and tissues, please!!

I have the privilege of capturing some really beautiful wedding days and some really incredible love stories and this one had me feeling all of the things from start to finish! What a joy it was to be a part of this day!
