This day was easy to look forward to! Even before I realized that it would be my one hundredth wedding! From the beginning of our time together, Maya and Reed have been a dream! From the streets of Savannah, to the beach of Tybee Island and finally, the open fields and rolling hills of Magnolia Creek Farms, it’s been the most fun with these two! I knew they envisioned a beautiful, relaxing day where they could spend time with those they loved, each other and just have a great day! I think they achieved just that!
If you’re new to Georgia weather, it might come as a surprise to you that March can bring anything from a blizzard to a tornado and this day was no exception. For days ahead of their wedding, strong storms, wind, hail and possibly even tornadoes were forecasted. I braced myself to arrive to a stressed out bride and found absolutely nothing of the sort. Maya was so relaxed, so willing to take on whatever the day held and she kept a smile through it all. We may have battled gusts of wind and a temperamental veil most of the day but gosh we made some beautiful magic and had a blast! I’m so grateful to have worked with Maya and Reed, they make the best impression and throw one heck of a party!
