No sooner had I sworn off shooting July weddings than an email came through from Cassi that she and Garrett were planning their wedding… for July! I had already met both Cassi and Garrett when I shot Garrett’s brother’s wedding the year before and I knew I wanted to work with them… summer heat and all!
Cassi and Garrett’s sweet day at In the Woods was the kind of wedding day that makes me absolutely love my job. It was a day full of genuine, heartfelt intention, laughter and two people ecstatic to be getting married and celebrating with friends and family. I loved capturing their sweet moments, Cassi getting into her dress with her mom (even wearing her mom’s veil for the ceremony), Cassi and Garrett sharing a private First Look on the dock before a quiet moment to read their personal vows to on another, lakeside, before being joined by their wedding party for photos and lots of fun! Cassi’s sweet girls wore gorgeous pops of color and floral dresses, giving a nod to her vibrant wildflower themed bridal bouquet and they looked so incredible. They had the most picturesque lakeside ceremony, one of the venue’s many highlight locations and then brought the party, along with The TC Show all night at the reception.
It could not have been a more perfect or a sweeter day for these two and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to help celebrate them and capture their incredible day!
