Lexi + Ryan | Married | The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation

I don’t think there could have been a more beautiful day for this beautiful couple. A couple who just so happen to be good friends and some of the most genuine, loving, good people I know.  I graduated from High School with Ryan although I knew little more than his name until years later. When Luke and I started dating, Ryan soon became a familiar face and it wasn’t long before Lexi came bursting into the picture too with her easy going, fun loving personality, contagious smile and love for adventure. It was probably only about an hour into meeting her for the first time that I knew we would be friends!

I knew, as soon as Ryan and Lexi decided to get married in “their” city of Charleston, that it would a dream wedding. I was even more excited when they officially asked me to photograph it. The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation and all of the vendors were showing off for this classically romantic, Low Country wedding day! I literally ohhh-ed and ahhhh-ed over every single detail! The day started with falling in love with Lexi’s stunning and romantic, twirl friendly dress from The Something Blue Shoppe. Y’all, it was incredible and I literally got chills when she walked down the isle! Everything else fell together, accented by the soft green of the bridesmaids’ dresses and gorgeous florals by Coastal Creations. This day was full of Old Southern charm, evident in so many of the little things, from the subtle and welcoming Spanish moss around the venue to the guest favors of Grits and Gratitude.  But above all, this day was made complete by the love and emotion that wrapped around this couple and the people who love them most, as they set out on this new and exciting journey together.

It truly meant the world to me to be able to capture this day for our sweet friends! I’ve been cheering this relationship on from the beginning and it made this wedding that much more special. Trust me when I say, you don’t want to miss this one!
