Morrison + Ryan | Married | Muse Farm Wedding

“Where do I even begin?” It’s how she started the sweetest thank you note that she slipped into my hands right before getting into her dress last Saturday. So it’s how I’m starting this post. From the moment Morrison popped into my inbox last summer, she was putting a smile on my face. Even in a short “tell me about yourself” text box, she was just pure, bubbly energy and excitement. I felt like I just loved them before we ever even met. I didn’t know then just how much these two would mean to me over the next year. Meeting her and Ryan last December was like meeting up with old friends. Last Saturday was the best day celebrating the sweet love story that these two share.

I don’t think there are words that could adequately paint the picture of their perfect day. Good thing words aren’t my specialty! Morrison and Ryan and I met up a few times over the past year for photos and each time we were met with gloomy skies and looming rainy day forecasts. I told her each time that it just meant we were going to have the perfect conditions for their actual wedding. I prayed that it was true. I willed the stars to align for these two and y’all, this day exceeded every hope and expectation I ever dared to have. From the perfect fall day that appeared literally overnight, to the sweetest gift exchange between the two of them to Morrison’s giddy excitement to officially be pronounced husband and wife and all the precious moments in between, this day was an absolute dream.

I put such a strong emphasis on the importance of the relationships I form with my clients but the truth is, I only get a glimpse into a small part of their story. I get bits and pieces from their past, glimpses into their excitement over future plans and a really amazing invitation into their biggest day.  Without knowing much of this part of their story, I know that in their young lives,  these two have faced grief and tragedy that most people haven’t even thought about on their wedding day. I also know that it must have only made them stronger.  And they had some VIPs watching this whole day from the very best seats in the house.

I’ll be forever grateful that Morrison found me and chose me to not only capture their sweetest day, but also welcomed me with open arms into her heart! Ryan and Morrison really are something special! I cannot wait to see where the future takes them and this day will forever be a favorite! So much love and SO MUCH JOY!
