There is something magical about the light in the fall. It glows a little more, is a little more golden. Last weekend, we got particularly lucky for Kelsey and Dawson’s engagement session at Kingston Downs. When Kelsey said they wanted an outdoorsy feel for their session, I knew there wasn’t a better option than the place they had already chosen for their wedding. I’ll also never turn down an opportunity to explore this gorgeous property with a camera in hand!

I was already excited about this session! Kelsey came to me just a few months after her sister had also chosen me to be her wedding photographer. There is nothing more fun or flattering than getting to work with a family for multiple weddings! Not to mention, these two were SO fun, laid back and up for all of my crazy ideas. We went from playing with their sweet pups to wading through the golden, sun soaked fields of the property. I have a thing about the sunset light on that tall, winter grass. A BIG thing! But I mean, can you blame me?? Don’t mind me, I’ll just be over here humming Fields of Gold for the rest of the day! 🤪

I cannot wait to be back here next May, getting these two married!! 💚
