Wow! What a way to end the 2021 year wedding season! When I met Kristin and Matthew several months ago for their engagement photos, she told me about their plans for a Christmas themed wedding. I was excited, but I could have never imagined then how truly beautiful it would be! Enchanting is really a much better word!
Being in the wedding industry herself, Kristin thought of every little thing. She envisioned a day full of thoughtful, meaningful and absolutely gorgeous details And let me tell you, she nailed it, down to the champagne linen napkins! But of course, it wasn’t just about sparkling Christmas lights and pretty place settings. Kristin and Matthew’s day was heartwarming and full of love. It was clear right away that this was a tight knit group. From family to friends, there was so much love, not only for this couple but for each other! Kristin went above and beyond to make sure their wedding party, in particular, knew just how important they were to their story through a personal letter to wrote to each group.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house from the bridesmaids first look with Kristin to the ceremony where I’m not sure who was more emotional, Matthew or his best man. And I caught myself with a little dust in my own eyes from time to time throughout this sweet, sweet day. But as much as this group knew how to appreciate the special moments, they were just as good at getting the party started. I know Kristin and Matthew were most excited to celebrate with the people that love them and celebrate is exactly what they did!
I’m so grateful that I got to capture this magical day! I could not have dreamed up a better way to close 2021. Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Harris!
