I absolutely love Berry College in my hometown of Rome, GA. I grew up begging my mom to take me to Berry to see the ducks, visit Frost Chapel or go hiking around the iconic Water Wheel on Mountain Campus. As photography became a hobby years ago, Berry once again became a favorite spot to visit! Now it’s one of my go-to spots for portrait sessions. There are no limits to the backdrops that the beautiful college campus offers. From unique architecture found at the Ford Buildings and the Retreat center that once held the school’s functioning dairy operation, to rolling pastures and wooded creeks, it’s so easy to get contrasting looks in the same session.
When Saturday’s forecast popped up on my weather app last week I practically jumped for joy. It was the perfect spring day in Georgia and it actually felt like spring! I knew from the moment we started planning that Kendall and I would be a good fit. She was excited, eager and meeting her in person confirmed how well she carries herself. From the moment I stepped out of the car to meet her, I just knew she was going to be amazing! Dressed in this beautiful yellow, floral jumper, the Ford Buildings at Berry made the perfect back drop. Kendall was an absolute natural with everything I asked of her. I think I must have said “Perfect” at least 100 times during her session! Every time it was 100% true!
So again, thank you Kendall, for allowing me to have a small role in your story as you venture into your senior year! Enjoy it! I wish you the best and I just know you will be amazing!
