Amber + Lance | Married | Downtown Rome, GA Wedding

My 2018 wedding season has officially come to a close but oh, what a way to end it! I’ve been looking forward to Amber and Lance’s downtown wedding day for well over a year! This sweet couple holds a special place in my heart. Last fall I had the honor of starting this wedding journey right along with them, capturing Lance’s surprise proposal  to Amber at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. We followed that up with an unseasonably warm but very colorful fall engagement session in November of 2017 and I started counting down the days until their fall wedding of this year! Let me just say, the fall presence of this wedding day did not disappoint and on an unseasonably COLD day, Amber and Lance became the newest Mr. & Mrs in my 2018 lineup.

It was sunny, windy and chilly when I arrived at Stella Blu to meet up with the bride and her beautiful ladies as they prepped for the big day. If you know me, you know that I start my wedding days off with all of the pretty little details and I almost screamed with excitement when I saw Amber’s perfect, powder blue heels. After warming up with details in the salon for a while we were off to meet the other half of the wedding party…the guys. They were total champs and kept us entertained and laughing despite the cold. Downtown Rome was showing off with all of the vibrant, glowing fall colors and it made the perfect backdrop for photos no matter where we turned. I could not have asked for a better group to work with. The bride and groom had amazing family and friends that made their day absolute perfection! From a fun wedding party to the moment Amber’s little brother walked her down the aisle, it was a truly amazing day.
